 Treasurers report: The club checkbook currently holds $1608.50, plus we have the $1500 CD. Read and accepted.

The Rush City Rendevous will be Saturday, September 6 at the Rush City High School, Rush City, MN

The South Dakota Section Hamfest will be Saturday, September 20 at the Oaks Hotel.

VE testing will be held Saturday, September 20 at 10 AM at the Oaks Hotel during the Hamfest.

There will be a fifth Tuesday Social Gathering Tuesday, September 30 at Old Chicago.

The FORX ARC hamfest will be Saturday, October 4 at Zion Methodist Church in Grand Forks, ND.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Hamfest will be Sunday, October 5 at the Millard American Legion Hall in Omaha, Nebraska.

The next SEARC business meeting will be Tuesday, October 7, 7:30 PM at the Emergency Management Building.

November Sweeps and Open House will be Sunday, November 16 at the Emergency Management Building.

Hamfest committee:

We have 13 room reservations at this time. It appears that Burghardt's will be the only vendor present. Bob Wood will be present to check QSL cards from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Door prises include the Yaesu FT-450AT, a 1000 watt portable generator, a Heil HM5 Handi Mic, a Yaesu VX-150 HT and 2 Rascal digital interfaces. Many manufacturers have promised door prizes, including MFJ and Bencher. You must be present to win all door prizes except for the FT-450.  We need 2 Computer Projectors for forums, personel to man the talk in station, someone to sell raffle tickets during the day, and set- up personel for Friday.

There will be an on-air ARES meeting the forth Tuesday after the regular net.

Don, KC0PMB presented the club with a certificate for participating in Skywarn Recognition Day.

Sugestion for a future program is portable operation. Dr. Tom says he can prepare a program.
