There will be VE testing Tuesday, July 8 7:00 PM at the Emergency Management Building, The new question pool is now in effect.

There will be a ham rummage sale Tuesday, July 15 at the storage unit at 3800 South Grange. Items belonged to WA0OYT (SK)

There will be no regular ARES meeting this month.

There will be a fifth Tuesday Social/KG0R farewell Tuesday, July 29, 7:00 PM at Old Chicago.

There will be Bike MS training at the Friday night fuel up at Southeast Technical Institute, 5:30 PM.

Bike MS will be Saturday and Sunday, August 2-3. The ride is from Sioux Falls to Vermillion this year. We need volunettrs for:

6-7 rest stops

4-6 SAG vehicles

1-2 supply vehicles

1-2 bike mechanics

2+ net controls

2 MS liason, possibly othe positions

The next SEARC business meeting will be Tuesday, August 5, 7:30 PM at the Emergency Management Building.

The South Dakota Section Hamfest will be Saturday, September 20 at the Oaks Hotel. We have had no luck contacting Art Bell as a keynote speaker. Dave, K9VKG and Mark WB0TEK (?) from Akron Iowa are mentioned as possible speakers.

KDLT TV showed up at Field Day, thanks to Connie, WD0EYV.

The 40M PSK31 frequency was overrun by CW signals.

Our total Score was 3242

 The hitch on the trailer is loose and the electrical connection needs extended.

We had 4 volunteers for the Triathalon June 21st. We needed 6 communicators to effectivly cover the route.

July net control is Rich, N0PV. 

Net control for August will be Don, KC0VDF, with Ray, WB0HHM as backup.
