The September meeting was called to order at 7:30 with 22 members and guests present.

Secretaries Report was read and approved

Treasurers Report was given by Brian with the following balances

CD $1542.31       Comm Trailer fund  $850.00 ...    General Fund $1670.32  for a total of $4062.63.  Some additional funds from recent antenna stand sales are not included in this total .  The report was  approved as read.

There will be VE Testing on Sept. 14th

Brian will be attending the Pierre Hamfest from 9-2.  He will be taking along some antenna stands to sell .

September 28th ARES Meeting we will be getting all the information turned in and have our ID cards made up.  Please have all necessary information with you and up to date.   Was also approved to make 10 visitor ID cards as well at this time,

We will be having another ARES drill October 2 at 10 am.  This should last about a hour and will be covering the different kinds of messages that were covered in this springs classes.

Ed was here tonight and commented about our response to the August 14 Drill.  He said that we did a good job.

Technical Committee reported that they are still having problems with the Menlo  repeater.  Ray said it would be nice to put a amplifier on this repeater.  This was tabled for now.,  They plan on going to each site before winter gets here to make sure that everything is up and running in good shape.

Club will be having a "Communication Trailer Cleanup Party" on October 3rd at 2:00 behind the Sioux Falls Music Store on 41st Street.  Come prepared to help  clean it up and make remodeling ideas happen,

October 9-10 will be the South Dakota QSO Party,.  Good way to get contacts that you may need.

Once again no one offered to do the Net Control for Sept.  So first one on again will be doing it.   (come on people lets get some people doing this again,  Its fun and a good way to practice some of your radio skills.)
