The secretaries minutes for the month of August are slow in coming.  My computer died again and then when fixed didnt seem to be enough hours in the day to get them done.  Im sorry...  will do better again next month.,

The August 3rd meeting was called to order with 23 members present.

The secretaries report was read and approved

The treasurers report was made differently this month.  With moneys in different areas and rearranged.  We have a total of$3953.00  After much discussion the treasurers report was approved.

This years tailgate was a huge sucess.  Bringing in $995

All the necessary preparations have been completed for the Bike MS this year.  Assignments and updates will be given out at the end of tonights meeting as part of the program.

Don talked about the ARES updates and up coming events

All members are asked to join the Google Group that was created for the club.  There are many listings of interest and helpful information to be found on it.   Please go to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   and join the group.

All ARES members are asked to finish up taking the FEMA coarses 100 200 700 800 so when we get ready for getting our ID tags all that information can be included on them.  These coarses are a good thing for everyone to learn but if you are a ARES member they are required.

September Program will be Emergency Communications and You.

Once again no one volunteered to be net control for the month so its a first come will start it.  Come on people we need volunteers for this stuff.  Try it some time its fun.
