The October 6th meeting was called to order at 7:30pm with the introduction of 20 members and guests present.

Secretarty's Minutes from September were read and approved.

There was no Treasurers Report given since Jim was out of town this month.

Don talked about the upcoming SET on Ocotber 10.  It was mainly going to be used to make contact with other State ARES groups and  practice setting up a emergency station.

November Sweepstakes will be discussed more at the November meeting, right now not much interest.

Brian reported that the new club trailer is all done and ready to go and that the tilt base really looks good on it. Looking a possible site for storeage but nothing is definate yet.

Brain said that they are looking for people interested in joining the Repeater Coverage Project.  People are needed for mobile use or if you cant do that it can be stationary.

Falls Park Special Events Station had a good day with approx. 35 contacts made.  Weather and conditions were excellent.

It ws decided not to do Jamboree on the Air but to try and set up our own display and offer our own radio badge,  Scouts could do it as a Merit badge project.

The APRS project was taken over by Ray... Not much has been done  yet but is getting back onto the internet.

Brian is looking for help on the SD Link Monitoring Team...You can set up your own time frame that you would be available to work. If interested get in contact with Brian.

Glen checked the antenna at Tea and it will work for us on UHF

November Net Control is  James with Brian as backup.

Next business meeting is November 3, 2009 with a program on antennas
