The September meeting was called to order at 7:30 with the introduction of 16 members and guests.

Secretarys minutes were read and approved.

Treasurers report was not given since Jim was out of town.

Upcoming Hamfests and the 5th Tuesday Social were brought up to clubs attention to see if anyone was interested in going to them. 
Lots of definate possible maybes for going to the Pierre Hamfest on September 19th but no definate  idea about anyone going.

 Ray has decided to take on the APRS that was in Tea and the club showed strong interest in getting Colmans up and running but discussion was tabled for the momnent.

Brian gave his update on the trailer and  discussed a possible tilt base on the trailer for approx. $300. Hes getting a bid from Chuck on the base and will be discussed at next meeting.

Technical Committee reported that they will disconnect the weather alert on 895 until they figure out how to operate it differently.

Dan will email www.serve.gov to see how to get ham radio included in their listings.

It was decided that Falls Park special event station will be Saturday September 26th noon-4 on the SE corner.  Generic QSL club cards and a 5x7 falls picture will be given with each QSL.

Jamboree on the Air is October 17-18th Brian and Chan talked of making contact with different Boy Scout troops to get them involved and interest made in getting badges they could earn at the event.

Club banner is still M.I.A. if you know there it is just bring it in to the next club meeting.  They are expensive to replace.

Brian has J poles and traffic cone anennas for sale.  They are $0.00 for the complete set.  He will make more if needed.

Mikw N0RGA has UHF repeater antennas to get rid of.  Glen and Ray will check them out for the club first, but Ed would take them for the state link.  Ed would get the 2 commercial ones.  Will vote on this next month.

November Sweeps was tabled til the October meeting to decide if to do it or not.

The club is taking voluneers for being "Elmers" different areas of interest and knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
