Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm

Treasurer’s report read and approved.  Balance of $2,080.19

VE Testing on July 14th at 7:00 pm

Discussed Tailgate Party.  Reminded everyone that they could eat both Breakfast and Dinner at the Truck Stop if they want to.

Discussed MS Bike Ride.  We are still taking and encouraging signups.  The Preliminary meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday July 31st at the Convention Center.

For those wanting to spend Saturday night in Vermillion, the cost of a Dorm Room will be $26.50…may be less if they have too many rooms.  Tent space on the Commons is Free.

Field Day was discussed.  Actual contact numbers will be forthcoming.

Brian wants to buy tires for the Club Trailer for $45.00.  This was approved.

The new trailer has been transferred to the Club.  Brian will donate tires for that trailer.

Brian will also donate a new Ball Hitch for the Trailer.

Brian is taking orders for Golf Shirts and again at next meeting.

Brian suggested having a “Special Event Station”  in Falls Park.

Brian also suggested a Saturday Special Project Day this winter.

Don discussed maybe putting a repeater somewhere in Brandon

Jeff would like the Technical Committee to stop NOA from taking over the Repeater.

It was approved to disable it for the time being until it can be discussed further.

Discussed purchasing a Power Supply from the Silent Key Estate.

Also discussed projects to get a grant for Homeland Security Money.

Mike is moving from Tea and we need someone to host the APRS equipment.

Brian’s next newsletter will be the end of August and anyone wanting to contribute something should get in touch with him by then.

Chan will do the Program for August on Battery Power and Solar Power.

Brian will be NCS for August.
